We’re grateful to report that we’ve raised $80,000 toward our overall goal. We’re amazed by the generosity of individuals and organizations who have given us momentum as we bring the tour to life across Canada.

Where has the $80,000 come from so far?
In the Fall of 2011 we raised $40, 500: $10,500 through our IndieGoGo crowd-sourcing campaign and just over $30,000 through the Ride for Refuge.
During our Winter Fundraising campaign we raised another 40,000 to bring our fundraising total to date to just past the $80,000 mark.
We’ve also gratefully received a Travel Trailer as a gift in kind, worth $2,600!

Gifts in Kind
Tour Vehicle – The tour requires 6 individuals to travel (5 actors + 1 stage manager). We’re looking for the right vehicle to take the crew safely from point A to M.
Accommodations – The crew will need places to rest their weary (and beautiful) heads while touring across Canada
Flights – We’re looking for a partner airline or individuals with Air Mileage to fly our director or supporting producer to select cities to connect with the tour
Gas – We plan to travel some 15,000 km to bring the show to the following cities
PR Work - Help us spread word about the tour to media outlets, faith communities, theatre enthusiasts, and people in the cities where we will take the show.
Special Events
We’ve been encouraged and overwhelmed by offers from people who have seen She Has A Name that want to put on fundraising events for us because they believe in the story and were so touched by the performance.
So far we have friends planning a dance, a concert, and a coffee event for us to raise money for the tour!
